Being Good NeighborsWe want children to learn the fun of eating and gain proper food knowledge and habits. Since 2005, McDonald’s has been providing support to elementary school’s food education classes with the use of a digital teaching tool developed by McDonald’s. In 2019, this teaching tool was revamped as “Shokuiku no Jikan + (Plus),” to study the “seven basics about foods” that growing children need to know, and also added new themes such as “Food Allergies” and “Food Loss.” In addition to providing a teaching tool, we set up a food class support office to distribute and lend DVD guidebooks and teaching kits.
